Charlotte is a solicitor in the Commercial Property department of Carter Lemon Camerons advising on commercial transactions and drafting and negotiating business leases. She is also involved in property and corporate acquisitions with multi-occupancy and cross-collateralisation issues. Other transactions include negotiating and advising a major telephone operator regarding site acquisitions, requiring the ability to negotiate and complete deals quickly; assisting with the acquisition of a industrial property through the purchase of the shares of a UK limited company; and managing the property portfolio of a land landowner on the Isle of Wight and recently drafting and preparing multiple substation leases and wayleave agreements. Recent transactions include: Charlotte graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2003 and subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course with distinction at the College of Law London. Charlotte joined the firm as a trainee in 2006 and was admitted to the Law Society in 2008. Focusing on business lettings on behalf of both Landlords and Tenants and associated management work, whilst also specialising in acquisitions and deposals of commercial properties. Charlotte is an avid gym goer and long distance runner and is currently training to run the 2010 Brighton Marathon. In her spare time Charlotte is also a keen DIY enthusiast and enjoys spending time with family and friends. In addition to being a member of the Law Society, Charlotte is also a member of the Association of Women Solicitors, Women in Property and Junior Lawyers. |
